Production & Acquisition

Let me intoroduce myself first. I am Eszter Vámosi and over 16 years of media experience I’m ready to learn something new. I started my carrier as a trainee and I’m leaving the head of programing position in these days. I have a colourful carrier behind be. I had a chance to try myself as an editor, foreign editor in the National Hungarian TV – known as MTVA nowdays -; ‘was a production assistant in Sportklub. In the las three years I was responsible for the programing, international co-ordination and partly for the acqusition in Digi Sport HU. I was also attend the framing of the PR strategy. I attended in managing the channel, so I have obtained management experinces also. I had also chance to participate documentaries as an assistant, therefore I have experience of the program production also. As I have completed the PR major also – I was working in this profession previously.

In the last five years I was response for two thematic cable channels. As a project manager I had to focus the programming and the sales of the channels – on the market and also in business sense.

2015 started with a sad turn: my dad the owner of Paxi Production passed away. As the company owned by my family since 1989 it wasn’t a question that I continue. Paxi based in two fields as healthcare and tv/movie production.

As the manager of our production company me and my team planning to open on new fields : we will focus more on the international market. With 15 years of media experience behind our back we decided to do what we love an we talented in, so as independent producers we start to develop and distribute tv formats and series.

Our first pilots are at pre-production stage and we are happy to tell you more about these contents personally.

Also we are happy to introduce our first distributed show, Hello Malta produced by Independent Film.

Say Hello ! – The Travel Programme

The idea behind „Say Hello” is to produce a unique travel programme, which introduces the viewers to local sites through an insider’s view, and create interest for a certain destination to encourage travel and tourism. The film crew is using special production techniques similar to music videos and commercials, which gives a new and exciting feel to the programme.

The first series of episodes were produced in Malta showing the different aspects of the Maltese Islands. The episodes are currently broadcasted on Spektrum Channel in Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia between Sep-Dec 2014 and March-May 2015, until september 2016. These episodes are 10 minutes long, but we have the 24 mins version also. If you have any intersts in Hello Malta! do not hesitate to contact us.
